IAFD Review – The Internet Adult Film Database

For those who see adult entertainment as more than just a quick release, there's a real appreciation for the art, the performers, and the industry behind the scenes. The Internet Adult Film Database, better known as IAFD, is the go-to resource for anyone who wants to dive deeper. Think of it as the IMDb of the adult world – a massive archive that catalogs films, actors, directors, and studios across the spectrum of adult content.

Unlike streaming sites, IAFD doesn't host videos. Instead, it serves as a comprehensive reference point, linking you to places where you can buy or find the movies. But it goes much further than a simple database. You'll find up-to-date industry news, a regularly updated blog, film reviews, and even tributes to performers who have passed away. It's a site built for porn connoisseurs who want to stay informed and celebrate the people who make adult entertainment possible.

Simple but Effective Design The layout is straightforward: a clean white background with black text, centered content, and sidebar lists. On the left, you'll see a list of porn stars born on the current day – a fun touch for those who like to celebrate birthdays in their own way. Below that, top ten lists for new web scenes (both straight and gay) give you a quick look at fresh content.

The right side offers more top ten lists: actresses, titles, scenes, actors, reviews, galleries, and directors. These lists are incredibly useful for discovering trending performers and popular scenes, serving as built-in recommendations. At the center of the homepage, a news feed from the IAFD blog keeps you updated on industry events, award shows, and seasonal content collections.

At the top, a menu bar gives access to updates, services, reviews, and resources. Under "Services," you'll find an advanced search that is truly impressive. You can search by title fragments, ethnicity, hair color, debut year, tattoos, and even rare sex acts. This is a lifesaver when you remember only a vague detail about a scene.

Honoring the Past and Present IAFD takes respect seriously. The site includes dedicated tributes to deceased performers and curators, ensuring their legacy lives on. There are also fun sections like Birthdays and Astrology, where you can find performers born under your sign or on your birthday – a quirky way to connect with the industry.

The FAQ section, created with help from Rame.com, is a goldmine for aspiring performers. It covers everything from how to break into the industry to what goes on behind the scenes. If you've ever wondered about the realities of adult film work, this is a great starting point.

A Community for Fans Whether you're tracking down a long-lost scene, discovering new talent, or just geeking out on industry stats, IAFD delivers. It's a site that treats adult entertainment with the seriousness and respect it deserves, while still being fun to explore. Highly recommended for anyone who calls themselves a porn buff.
